Perth Glory is delighted to announce that exciting forward Jaiden Kucharski has signed a new contract with the club which runs until 2028. The 23-year-old headed to WA ahead of the 2025/26 A-League campaign having previously made more than 60 appearances for Sydney FC with whom he also claimed an Australia Cup winner’s medal in 2023. He duly marked his Glory debut by scoring against Wellington Phoenix in Round One and ended his first season in purple having made 19 appearances in which he added a further two goals and claimed three assists. One of those goals, a spectacular Round 15 strike against Auckland FC at HBF Park, earned Kucharski the club’s Goal of the Season Award and was also short-listed for the A-League Men’s Goal of the Year. Glory Football Director Stan Lazaridis is confident that the former Australia Under-17 international will continue to be a key attacking weapon for Glory. “We’ve seen from day one just how talented JK is,” he said, “and I believe that he is only going to get better. “He has great pace and mobility which makes him very hard to defend against and on top of that, is a clinical finisher. “JK really suits the way we want to play, he gets our Members and fans out of their seats and having him sign a long-term deal is a huge positive.”
